In an EFT session, I identified that my body feels “In shambles, run down and in foreclosure.”

So I tapped on releasing and letting go of negative news media! :-) LOL

  3. HealingMagic says:

I think it is mass hypnosis from out culture.

  4. HealingMagic says:

First feel that you want it or feel the sensations then while tapping say, I release and let it go. That is it. Then check to see if you still feel that you want it. then do it again until it is gone.

I am additcted to bakery items, especially freshly baked bread rolls, whole wheat or sultana bread, etc. What exactly should I say while tapping. Thanks for your advise.

I think it is apart of the system to has emotionally enduced the idea that food will make us feel better. Schools use food as a reward for good behaivor as well as parents.

We can fill up on all the FAST FOOD in the world and still feel hungry. Because it’s closeness and contact we’re hungry for, not necessarily food. Bottle feeding gives the wrong messages. What think you?

  8. AmazinSistaGracee says:

I wonder how many people with excess weight were bottle fed rather than breast fed as babies. I think bottle feeding leads to the belief that FOOD (which can be found anywhere) = love, whereas breast fed babies equate love with one special PERSON WHO HAPPENS TO FEED THEM. I think overweight people are looking for that missing part of the feeding process – the part where they feel held and NURTURED by someone who cares for them wholly.

Hello Spring, I aplaud you in your healing work. Robert rocks, and so do you! :) Arum

Hi Robert. I am sticking with the EFT! Forget EMDR, as I can do this myself, and you’re right. I’ll never be bored. Thanks again for all you do! By the by, hi Arum. Hugs.

  12. HealingMagic says:

EMDR does create results but it is slower.

  13. spring0102 says:

Wow! I posted before and then watched (after reading about EMDR). This is good stuff! I can relate. I avoid everything, and will do what I can to feel nothing, even if it means staying in my apt. and avoiding people. I don’t make emotional attachments, and I feel alone, but safe. PTSD has me imprisoned. I am breaking out, if it kills me! Thanks for all you do.:)

  14. spring0102 says:

    Hi Robert,

I don’t waste food, as Americans waste enough food per year to feed the world for two (Environmental Biology class). But, I think the principles applied here are the same! I have been researching all I can about PTSD and effective treatments to combat it. Question: Do you practice EMDR, what do you think of it, and are the techniques the same, basically as those employed under EFT? I would like to use both, but don’t know that I can practice EMDR alone. Thanks!

  17. HealingMagic says:

If you keep that program inside “food is comfort” and then apply to other foods with the same program then when life gets really bad you will looking for your comfort in food then your weight will get worse. Your comfort shouldn’t come from food. That is why so many are so big.

  18. HealingMagic says:

You need to tap it and put it back to the real source and it usually have a person involved with the chocolate. You think its the food making you to feel good but it is really the emotions and not the food. YUK YUK

  19. arumseed says:

OK. I’m not over weight, but I just wanted to make sure I could still enjoy my food. I do have some emotional attachments, use it to comfort myself. Chocolate . YUM YUM! :)

  20. HealingMagic says:

The #1 problem is people will use food for pleasure and to escape their stress and emotions. Once you tap away the emotional attachment to food then you will use it for its real purpose and that is to maintain health and life. You will be able to eat it but it will not be an emotional stronghold in your life. Of course you don’t want to tap away your emotional pleasure with food because if you did then you free. You will enjoy but not abuse yourself with food. Overweight people love food.

  21. arumseed says:

Robert, I get what you’re saying, kind of. Are you taking away our “pleasure”? We INJOY food. We don’t want to loose the pleasure of good food. We look forward to it. It’s one of the things that makes life pleasurable. I don’t want MY chocolate to taste like wax. Will we still REALLY INJOY food? :) Arum
