Are there any diet pills out there that will actually work?

I am a 19 year old girl in college, I work out regularly, and eat as healthy as I can. I know that diet pills aren’t necessarily healthy but I want to help my weight loss process with a kick start kind of thing. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what type of diet pills work, and it dexatrim (sp?) or hydroxycut are terrible for your body! Thanks a bunch!

    Hiya, In my line of work, it is easy to comfort eat, especially when there’s a deadline to meet and you’re under lots of stress. Finding time for the gym or cooking healthy food was not something I ever really found time to think about. I had never even realised that I’d become so large until someone I knew well, who I hadn’t seen me for a while no longer knew who I was.

    Premium Acai Slim has just given me that added help and support to know that I can now lose and maintain my weight. Losing weight has made me feel so much more confident and I really go out of my way, to ensure I stay healthier, through my diet, healthy exercise and by taking Premium Acai Slim. I cannot recommend this product enough to you all! I feel and look ten years younger.

    After doing a quick google search i found this which might interest you.

    Try to count your calories, write it down any time you eat. Compare to how many are you burning. The type of diet and nutrition are a big part of weight loss. Pills are just some mental attachment, will have very little impact.

    Generally there are three types of diet pill, they are as follows;

    Appetite suppressants
    Fat Binders
    Fat Burners

    The most popular kind of diet pill is an appetite suppressant as these can actually re-train your eating habits, which in turn will give you long term weight loss. One of the biggest reasons why a diet fails is normally due to over-eating, using an appetite suppressant can stop this from happening.

    Fat binders
    These work by cutting out a percentage of fat from your daily diet. There are two popular choices; Alli and Proactol. Alli uses the drug orlistat, which binds fat molecules together in the gut and makes them too large to be utilised by the body. Although effective, Orlistat is currently under investigation amid reports of liver damage.

    Proactol contains natural ingredients and is made from prickly pear extract, it works the same but generally has no side effects.

    You can read a review here – http://www.natural-appetite-suppressant.co.uk/Proactol.html

    Fat Burners
    Considered the least effective and most likely to come with unwanted side effects. Hydroxycut as you already mentioned has been banned due to the death of a teenager in the US. Fat Burners usually contain harsh stimulants in an attempt to boost the metabolism. They normaly just make you very hot and often cause insomnia, and rapid heart beat.

    My advice is to go for an appetite suppressant such as Hoodia Gordonii, you can read more about how this extract works here – http://www.diet-reviews.co.uk/hoodia-weight-loss/

    Hope all this helps! I know its a lot to take in!
